Malinska

A FEW WORDS ABOUT MALINSKA

Malinska is located in a wide bay on the west coast of the island Krk. Malinska got its name from word "malin" which mean mill. Mill was situated in center of Malinska named Jaz; there we can find ruins of mill.

Geographic position, natural beauties and mild climate are most important for develop of Malinska. Thanks to very organised traffic, built hotels and catering capacity, at the beginning of 20th century Malinska was proclaimed the best health tourism destination.

Malinska is surrounded with beautiful coast, lot of small sandy beaches and clear sea. Malinska is famous for long and arranged walkways with beautiful panoramic view and rich vegetation, relatively well protected from strong winds.

Climate in Malinska is submediterranean, very mild. Average temperature in winter is 6ºC, and in Summer in August 26ºC. The lowest sea temperature is 10ºC, and the highest is 28ºC.
